Petrobras buys 1st LNG shipment from Angola

Petrobras purchased its first shipment of Liquefied Natural Gas (LNG) on Friday (June 14th) from Angola. The commercial agreement was held with Sonangol, the Angolan state company, and a shipment of 160,000 m³ of LNG, equivalent to 96 million m³ of natural gas, left the port of Soyo, Angola, on Sunday (June 16th) onboard the LNG carrier Sonangol Sambizanga towards Brazil.

BG Group today announced it had completed another successful drill stem test in Block 1 offshore Tanzania, with initial results from the Mzia-2 well showing better than expected properties in the deeper Cretaceous reservoir.
